Not many opportunities exist for consumers to taste a whole bunch of Napa wines in a single sitting. Walk-around tastings are more common for the trade and for members of the media, but public tastings with 30+ wineries are still something of a rarity. Such tastings that also have excellent food are even less common.
All of which is why Napa wine lovers might want to consider the upcoming Calistoga Food & Wine festival coming up in November. Held on the grounds of the lovely Solage resort in Calistoga, the event features more than 30 Calistoga wineries pouring their latest releases, and food from 7 different Napa restaurants.
It’s likely to be a delicious way to spend an afternoon. The wineries pouring include: Amici Cellars, Ballentine Vineyards, Bennett Lane Winery, CAMi Vineyards, Canard Vineyard, Chateau Montelena, Coquerel Family Estate Winery, Elusa Winery, Fisher Vineyards, Heritage School Vineyards, INIZI Wines, Jack Brooks Vineyard, JAX Vineyards, Jericho Canyon Vineyard, Kaiser Family Winery, Kenefick Ranch Vineyards, Ladera Vineyards, Larkmead Vineyards, Lawer Estates, LOLA Wines, Maria Concetto Winery, Next Door Wine, Phifer Pavitt Wine, Poggi Wines, Romeo Vineyards & Cellars, Solorio Family Wines, Sterling Vineyards, THE GRADE Cellars, Tom Eddy Winery, Twomey Cellars, and Work Vineyard.
