Harvest has begun for some producers here in Northern California, and we’re looking at receiving perhaps the first rains of the Autumn season this weekend. That put me in the mind of autumn and so I thought I’d share a lovely view of old vines in their autumn splendor from the Itata Valley in Chile. A mix of País, Carignan, and some other varieties, these old vines make quite a technicolor patchwork.
