A carefully constructed patchwork of beautiful hillside vineyards is tucked amongst the California Live Oaks on the hillsides of Napa Valley. While once the cutting edge of viticulture in Napa, such hillside vineyards are all but impossible to plant these days, as a result of intense scrutiny by the Napa Planning Commission and various constituencies in the valley who seem bent on preventing further vineyard development in the valley.
