- 2016 Domaine Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils Chablis (Burgundy): Peel the lemon. Grill the peel. Enjoy the damned good results. $28 B+
- 2019 Dow’s Vale do Bomfim (Douro): An appealing package of spicy, chewy, brambly, affordable, fruity fun. $14 B
- 2020 Schlink Haus Riesling (Nahe): A little simple peck on the cheek, wearing sweet lemon drop lip balm. $11 B-
- 2021 Staffelter Hof – Jan Matthias Klein ‘Little Red Riding Wolf’ (Mosel): Funky, fresh, floral, fragrant, and focused with nuclear-fission levels of energy. $36 A-
- 2021 Donnafugata Sedara Nero d’Avola (Sicilia): Textbook Nero, in all of its meaty, plummy, mineral deliciousness. $18 B+
- 2021 Cherry Pie Toro Hills Pinot Noir (Carneros): Ripe cherry and dried herbs, savory notes, bramble, spice… Hot damn, this is good. $55 A-
- 2021 Cherry Pie San Pablo Bay Vineyard Pinot Noir (Carneros): One for you CA freaks out there—vanilla, oak, cherries, leather, and power, power, POWER! $58 A-
- 2021 Cherry Pie Huckleberry Snodgrass Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley): Dusty spice, bramble, dried herbs, black raspberry, rhubarb pie, cherries. It’s big, lovable. succulent, and sexy AF. $58 A-
- 2016 Monkshood Cellars Syrah (Grand Valley, CO): Hints of pepper, game, mint, and dark berries, all served with mountain air levels of freshness. $44 A-
- 2019 Pellegrini Vineyards Stainless Steel Chardonnay (North Fork of Long Island): Tree and stone fruit action on a balanced, fresh palate… And all for what’s considered a reasonable price in the LI neck of the woods! $19 B+
