Quinta da Aveleda (Aveleda Winery) was founded in 1870 by Manuel Pedro Guedes after he inherited the land in the Vinho Verde region of northern Portugal. Known for their freshness, crisp acidity, and vibrant flavors, their Vinho Verde wines are crafted from local grape varieties like Loureiro, Alvarinho, and Arinto. The winery continues to be owned by the Guedes family.
