Commentary.
Not surprisingly, Ditchling and its church is the first village, in shot, right of centre, in the middle ground.
To the left, or west of it, is Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint.
Beyond Ditchling, far middle ground, is Burgess Hill.
Further on than that, particularly if zoom is used, it is clear that the High Weald undulates in a series of Sandstone Ridges and Clay Vales.
