Nothing beats the atmosphere of an old-world wine cellar, replete with mini stalactites and layers of mold covering the walls, as seen here in the cellars of Juris Wines in Austria’s Burgenland region. While winemaking is often thought of as requiring a certain standard of hygiene, sometimes the very best wines come from the cruddiest-looking cellars.
